About This Project
Here is our Steep Hill Home/ Viceroy’s House! A family house, with great northern aspect on a steep site in Melbourne’s inner north-west.
The challenge here was how to feel and give connection across levels without then creating disruption throughout. It became a delicate negotiation tempered through artful voids, windows, planning and strategic materials.
Sadly this home won’t make it off the drawing board. As happens, circumstances change and projects change with them. Needless to say they are still valuable in enabling the people who commission them to make real and informed decisions.
